Votive Plaque Fragment

This is a fragment of the right half of a votive plaque made of a type of stone known as gray schist. The complete plaque, which contained 13 rows of carvings, had a round hole in its center. The upper and lower registers seem to show seated people at a feast, and the squares on either side of the central hole in the middle register show the bringing of food and drink. The servant in the middle register carries loaves of bread and a fishing net on his head. A large fish hangs from a rod slung over the servant's shoulder.
